I don’t know where my womanhood ends and motherhood begins. Sometimes I feel fulfilled, complete, and other times I just want to be a woman again. My body is tired, and yet constantly touched and embraced by small arms and delicate hands—it’s penetrated and tested... In motherhood, there is a fine line between total fulfillment and boundless love, and pain and sacrifice.

A story about the feeling of being suspended in a state of not understanding elements of reality, and the often failed—though humorous—attempt to find an instruction manual for problems that resist resolution.
I tell the story of a man who devoted his life to storing, preserving, and processing information, as well as “taming” and studying the functions of objects. He constructed analog guidelines and usage schemes for contemporary life. The data he created remained on servers, while the image of his physical presence—captured on film and in digital files—will decompose far slower than his body. His voice, expression, and gestures, preserved in the memory of others, became a substitute for his presence. Yet over time, noise, distortion, and dissonance creep in. We stop visualizing the person as they truly were, and recall only a phantom, a simulacrum, the dust of pixels.
The exhibition is a kind of game-manual that poses essential questions and urges us to find a way out.

As a result of a fire, my cousin and his girlfriend lost their apartment, which was also their art studio. From that moment on, for several months, I visited them and observed how they coped with the disaster and its aftermath. During our meetings, I created photographs in which documentary and creative elements intertwine.

The protagonists document their everyday lives in a small town. I gave them a camera for the first time during winter photography workshops, and ever since, they’ve been sharing fragments of their lives with me.
