As the year comes to an end, we return to the series of projects about Warsaw created by photographers from Sputnik Photos. We invite you to explore Agnieszka Rayss's works inspired by the now-defunct Mazovian Province Miniature Park.

"Ghosts"

Collages in which the author uses photos of decaying models of non-existent Warsaw buildings. The models come from the Miniature Park, which showed carefully made models of buildings that no longer exist. The Miniature Park could not find a permanent location for a long time, eventually ending up in the park on the corner of Świętokrzyska and Marszałkowska. A storm damaged the miniatures, and then the unguarded buildings were destroyed.

The project used photos of the model of the Great Synagogue on Tłomackie, Gościnny Dwór, and the Lubomorski Palace.

The project was co-financed by the City of Warsaw as part of the Social Photography Center CHŁODNA 20 initiative.
