COLLECTIVE

Sputnik Photos is an international collective of photographers from Central and Eastern Europe, founded in 2006. The experiences of the transformation period in their region became a starting point for a collective discussion about the social, cultural and political processes taking place there.

EDUCATION

As part of its educational activities, Sputnik Photos is currently running two parallel projects. The Sputnik Photos Mentoring Program is an intensive course during which students, in close cooperation with mentors - Sputnik Photos photographers - work on creating their own photo series. The Photography Workshop was designed as a way to learn photography from scratch and as an introduction to further education.
