Lost Territories Archive 2024

Information on the support granted to the Initiative under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan Component: Economic resilience and competitiveness Investment A2.5.1: A program supporting the activities of entities in the cultural sector and creative industries to stimulate their development.

The initiative involves documenting and promoting culture by creating and sharing online a series of video recordings featuring Polish artists, as well as commissioning new digital works.


It refers to the project "Lost Territories Archive", carried out since 2008 in the former Soviet republics.

 

The project will preserve conversations between artists about visual colonialism, stereotypes, and creative methodology. Its multimedia format, designed with accessibility in mind, will engage both Polish and European audiences.

 

The materials will be used in exhibitions in 2025 and 2026, enhancing the applicant's operational stability and resilience to economic crises. The project also develops the applicant’s skills in digital content creation, including scriptwriting, planning, and editing.
